my 2 big toenails are in very bad shape. the ends keep splitting and never seem to be able to grow properly. i think it's because i used to split apart the layers of my big toenail and peel them off when i was young. i try not to do that anymore but it keeps splitting and i have no choice but to cut the split layer off and the cycle just keeps repeating! i don't have this problem with any of my other nails so i'm really hoping that i can get this problem fixed as i've been having it for years! thanks :)Can my splitting nails be saved?
try hydrating your nails with lots of lotion and cuticle oil. Nail lose moisture 10 times as fast as skin, so you can see where this could present a problem. Also, if it persists go get a pedicure somewhere where they are from America (or someone who speaks fluent english and is understandable) so you can ask them if they have any suggestions. No offense to the Asians but it is hard to ask them questions and get a fully understandable, answered, question.
