I stop biting my nails and when i do leave them to grow they always split help ?

well, depending on how long and how sever your biting addiction was it may have permanently damaged your nail and the way the are shaped and grow. some of mine are the same way and i quit biting them 5 yrs ago but i was biting them for over 10 yrs! so stop biting them altogether and keep your cuticles moisturized, dont file them unless you have to, and clip them as little as possible. clipping causes damage to the nails leaving them jagged and brittle. the same goes for filing. Ok, first off start taking hair skin and nails supplements, like Perfectil, you can get them at any chemist or health food store. Sally Hansens Miracle growth nail polish is brilliant, paint your nails with it every other day and they'll grow in no time, (and it gives your nails a lovely shiny finish!).

Oil your cuticles(the skin at the end of your nails, start of your fingers) with olive oil or almond oil. Bathe them while you watch tv and then wipe them and push your cuticles gently back with an orange stick(that little wooden stick you get in manicure sets.

You'll have lovely nails in no time!!

u need to drink plenty of water to keep them hydrated and also there is um a nail polish by sally hansen that helps with breakage and its in a blue bottle
Are they dry? You might need to condition them. Or take B vitamins and biotin to strengthen your nails.
go to the store and get nail renewal. it works. i stopped biitting mine as well and the same happened to me
A lot of water and take vitamins. Consult with your doctor, first.
