i think it will be fine...my dog split her nail a few months back...it healed and shes fine now.
Either go to softpaws.com and click on the dogs section and get a set of nail caps. Use one of the nail caps on her split nail and the pain %26amp; limping will stop and she will not be able to lick it either.

I'm confused, did she break off her whole nail, or just a piece? is it bleeding? if its bleeding you need to call the vet. the call is free, just ask them what you should do.
