If you have damaged your nail bed, it may never stop splitting. The problem is that the nail matrix dictates what the nail looks like , and if it dictates that the nail is split then there isn't much you can do about it.





Let it grow out, and it should actually stop splitting. You might try reinforcing it with a nail strengthening polish. You can get one that has fibers in it.
